LordBader Project

What is LordBader ?

LordBader (Layer Organized Repository baseD Business Application Develop EnviRonment) aims at to develop a total support environment which supports in from modeling business activities to developing business applications based on the model in a consistent way. We are developing layer organized repositories to deal with various and a large amount of concepts related with business activities and business applications, and also proposing a methodology to develop applications based on them to fill gaps of grain sizes of those various concepts.

Description

Under Construction
Due to the accelerated speed of businesses, rapid development of business applications, which support in automating business activities, are strongly required. Developing applications is a process of transforming abstract ideas into concrete processes which include subdividing problems, designing architectures, specifying concrete data structures and algorithm and so on, thus we have to perform a lot of trial and error in the process.

Our objective is to develop an integrated support environement to support in developing business applications through trial and error.

At this moment, we have established three different grain sizes of concepts which related with organizational structure, workflow and business applications for each. For the reuse of knowledge and know-hows of development processes of them, we are devising multi layered repositories. These repositories are constructed by integrating heterogeneous resources on the web, such as Process Handbook of MIT and WordNet of Princeton University, based on ontologies, and we provide a software development process by proposing a methodology to utilize them.
